INCITING INCIDENT

I believe that the inciting incident of "The Pedestrian" is the fact that he is stuck with the past while everyone & everything else is in the present.

RESPECT MY AUTHORITY!!!!

Through my experience authority hasn't been the best parts of my life.
Most authority figures for me have been found in school &/or family.
The authority in school is extensively strict with the rules, witch most of the time are used invalidly, but the worst part is that the authority doesn't let us defend our self (guilty until proven innocent).

literature analysis questions #1

1. The plot of the novel is based around irony & the art of working the human mind.

2. The theme of the novel is confusing, fictional & depressing (for the character).

3.  The author usually wakes up tired after a long night of writing, gets up & eats some cereal/oatmeal & coffee, reads the newspaper & stretches a lot.
He seams like the type of guy that pours all his energy on writing because his writing is intense & detailed with lots of emphasis on the description of items.

4. His way that the text is so intense gives me an idea of confusion, the way he describes things in a harsh way gives my explanation of depression, the religion & magic aspect gives the idea of fiction, & the art that creates in the imagination is ''magical''.
